Mereba is coming to BIRD on Thursday, September 25th! The southern alternative R&B artist is bringing her new album The Breeze Grew a Fire, her biggest work to date and her first release on Secretly Canadian. This album is about self-discovery, embracing her past, and celebrating the relationships that inspire her.

After the birth of her son in 2021, Mereba got a new perspective on life, and you can hear that in her music. The Breeze Grew a Fire is intimate, personal, and has a warm, folky vibe, perfect for an evening where she shares her story.

Mereba’s sound is a mix of influences from Atlanta, L.A., Addis Ababa, and Greensboro, which makes for a unique, flowing style. This is your chance to experience her music live! Come by, let yourself be swept away, and enjoy a special evening at BIRD.
